My kids got new bikes for Christmas!!!! That was their big present this year. We went Vegas again so that they could see a few of their many cousins. I had to come back to Utah early because I have to work! YUCK!!! Oh well. There is a supervisor postion opening up at work and my department mananger gave my resume to the store manager. I am really excited. My current supervisor thinks that I am a good canidate for the job. I think it would be a great oppertunity to learn how to supervise a team so that when I earn my degree and start working for in a doctors office, I will have the expierence to become an office manager. Anywho...that's pretty much it for this post. Hope everyone is haveing a great holiday! See ya all next year!!!!

I have successfully survived my first month of fitness boot camp!!! Tomorrow we will be doing our fitness assessments. I haven't followed my healthy eating plan as well as I did in the beginning, so I don't think my results will be as good as I would like, but I can defiantly see & feel a difference in my body as well as in my energy levels. I can also feel a cold coming on & I'm afraid that I won't be at 100%. I guess I will just have to hit the sack early tonight (no more late night phone calls!). I really hate being sick because I get so tired & I have a hard time getting my school work done, especially since my first rough draft is due next Tuesday & I haven't done much research! I have all the information, now I just need to read it & get it organized into a paper! YIKES!
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to you all!!!!!

Here is a question posted for Unit 5 blog. If there was one thing about your academic challenges, what would it be?
My answer...Keeping up with this blog and all the other stuff that is required! When I first decided to go back to school, I was out of work and had a lot of extra time on my hands. Now that I have gone back to work, I am having a hard time balancing my home life, work, and school. I am starting to get really frustrated with everything! For example, when I am trying to study, my 5 year old wants to play. I'm trying to concentrate, and she wants to take my nose. It's actually really cute, when I 'm not studying. But I get a little angry, and she starts to cry. My kids don't have their father around, it's just me. So, I stop what I'm doing and take care of my kids. They come first and if my grades have to suffer, so be it!

For my unit 4 blog I chose to answer the question "What would you do if someone used something you created without giving you credit?" I have given a lot of thought to question as I do my writing. There are a couple of web sites that you can join were you can post your writing and get feed back form others. I would like to do this because I really value the feedback, however, I am hesitant to do so because I don't want some one else stealing my work. I have even thought about posting some of my writing to my blog, but I have the same fears.
This has made realize how important it is to site you research correctly. I know that I would feel awful if someone used my work without giving me credit, because I have worked really hard to get the ideas out of my head-not an easy task for me.
