i don't know what my problem is, but i keep getting injured at work! this is not a good thing because we are coming up on an entire year of "safe days". if i blow it, i would have a whole mess of people angry with me! saturday i back into the corner of a wooden palate that was stacked on a large box & at the same time was pushed by the huge blue cart full of clothing that i was trying to move. luckly, i wasn't hurt bad enough that i had to go to the doctor, but i do have a gnarly bruise! then today & thought it would be fun to shut my hand into the cage door of the collectibles cage. again...not a good idea. my knuckle was a little red for a while, but all is well now.
i was also given the privilege of cash count. this is normally done by staff & supervisors, rarely is a mere associate given the opportunity. this job is actually pretty easy for me since i have done balanced cash registers drawers & done deposits before. it's fun too because i don't have to do it alone! there is always someone else there to help me find my mistakes.
